World Chocolate Day Celebrations at HRH Group of Hotels

World Chocolate Day, celebrated annually on 7th July, honors the rich history, cultural importance and global affection for chocolate. The date marks the traditional anniversary of chocolate's introduction to Europe in 1550-prior to which cacao was consumed almost exclusively in Central and South America.

HRH Group of Hotels, commemorated the occasion with a celebration of culinary artistry across its iconic properties in Udaipur: Shiv Niwas Palace and Jagmandir Island Palace. The festivities showcased the creativity and passion of the group's master chefs, who crafted an array of chocolate-inspired delicacies to honor this universally cherished treat.

At Shiv Niwas Palace guests enjoyed an elegant selection of decadent chocolate desserts thoughtfully infused with the rich heritage and distinct flavors of Rajasthan.

At Jagmandir Island Palace, Chefs demonstrated sweet innovation by sculpting a spectacular Gangaur Boat centerpiece entirely out of chocolate, seamlessly blending regional tradition with artistic flair.

The World Chocolate Day festivities across the HRH Group of Hotels not only celebrated a shared love for chocolate, but also reinforced the group's commitment to combining heritage, culinary excellence and world-class hospitality.
