The Consecration of 'Arvind Sarovaram': A Noble Tribute to Mewar’s Water Legacy

On 19th April 2026, On the highly auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 'Arvind Sarovaram' was formally established within the Shikarbadi complex, further immortalizing Mewar's centuries-old legacy of water conservation. The sacred ceremony was solemnized in the profound presence of Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and esteemed members of the Mewar family.

Undertaken with the divine blessings of Shri Eklingnathji and guided by learned scholars and Vedic experts, the consecration honored the cherished memory of the His late Highness Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar. Rooted in deep ecological reverence, special rituals dedicated to nature and the Panchatattva (the five eternal elements) were performed. 'Arvind Sarovaram' stands as a living embodiment of this heartfelt ancestral tribute. Water architecture has always held a sacred place in Mewar's history; through the eras, the Maharanas constructed iconic lakes, stepwells, and reservoirs, establishing an timeless global standard in water harvesting that this new initiative proudly carries forward.
