On 19th April 2026, Mr. Gopal Agarwal of Sun-Moon Power, a solar energy solutions firm based in Uttar Pradesh, visited Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur with his family to meet Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. US Ambassador Visits Shambhu Niwas Palace

On 19th April 2026, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar warmly welcomed H.E. Mr. Sergio Gor, Ambassador of the United States, to Shambhu Niwas Palace during the ambassador's visit to The City Palace, Udaipur. Shriji presented Ambassador Gor with a memento as a token of friendship.

The two discussed Mewar's rich heritage and cultural conservation efforts. Ambassador Gor described Udaipur as a special and favourite tourist destination and called his visit to The City Palace a very pleasant experience, praising the ongoing preservation work.

Shriji Inaugurates "Make My Craft" Factory Outlet in Udaipur

On 19th April 2026, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar inaugurated "Make My Craft," a new factory outlet for handmade products, at the Saheli Palace Hotel on Saheli Marg, Udaipur. Operated by the Chhaparwal family—now in their third generation of crafting handmade silver jewellery, furniture, and home articles—the outlet gives customers direct access to factory-made items at reasonable, transparent prices.

The Chhaparwals have redesigned their business to connect directly with consumers, cutting intermediaries and emphasizing quality and fair pricing. Director Pramod Chhaparwal said the outlet's aim is to offer well-crafted products with clear, honest pricing, making traditional craftsmanship more accessible to residents and visitors of Udaipur.
