On 16th January 2026, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army unveiled a statue of Maharana Pratap at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre in New Delhi. The event paid homage to Maharana Pratap's legendary valour and enduring legacy as one of the most revered Rajput rulers, symbolizing courage, patriotism and Rajasthan's rich martial heritage.

The ceremony at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre highlighted the deep historical and cultural ties between the Rajput community and the Indian Army, reinforcing a spirit of honor and service that continues to inspire new generations.
