The Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi honoured Shriji by presenting him with a Chief of the Army Staff Commendation Card. It is a prestigious Indian Army award recognizing individual acts of gallantry, distinguished service or devotion to duty. The Chief conferred this honor upon Shriji in recognition of his outstanding contributions to social service, particularly his association with the Indian Army Regiments, Veer Naris and extending help during challenging times, including the COVID 19 pandemic, as well as his dedication to a range of noble initiatives in support of the armed forces. Expressing his gratitude to the Chief of the Army Staff, Shriji remarked that it was a matter of immense pride that Mewar's tradition of valour remains alive today within the Indian Army in the form of the 9th Battalion, The Grenadiers (Mewar), a fact that brings great glory to the region of Mewar and bears testimony to its enduring martial legacy
