Thu, 04 September The Shop by Community of Dreamers Celebrates First Anniversary In Jaipur's vibrant Moti Dungri area, "The Shop by Community of Dreamers" marked its first anniversary with a joyous celebration and unveiling of a new community magazine, organized by visionary Ms. Kalpana Singh Peelwa. Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar graced the event at Peelwa Garden-1, Jaipur. Founded by Ms. Kalpana Peelwa and Mr. Sandhya Dilip, the shop on the first floor blends art, economy, and community spirit. It showcases works from around 25 local artisans, including reimagined heirlooms by the Peelwa sisters Ms. Kalpana, Ms. Kamini, and Ms. Anjali Singh, under their brand Sitara. Launched around July 19, 2024, this space has become a cultural hub drawing crowds for its elegant collaborations. The anniversary highlighted shared dreams turned reality, fostering artistic connections in Jaipur.

Nearly 150 heritage hoteliers gathered under the theme "Romantic Heritage." |
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Ms. Diya Kumari lit the ceremonial lamp on September 6, joined by IHHA President H.H. Maharaj Gaj Singh of Jodhpur. Sessions featured heritage architecture revival by Mr. Sanjeev Vidyarthi and a Rajasthan folk music documentary by Mr. Abhimanyu Singh Alsisar. Day 2 included hotel operations insights by Mr. Veer Vijay Singh Dundlod, Solar Edge Technologies presentation, Union Minister Mr. Gajendra Shekhawat at the Executive Committee meeting, and tours of General Amar Singh's Library and Museum. The AGM covered elections, tourism's future, arts/crafts revival, horse safaris, and rural tourism, ending with thanks from Joint Secretary Mr. Prithvi Singh Kanota IHHA pushed for GST exemptions on foreign tourists to boost heritage tourism, highlighting 206 such hotels nationwide (140 in Rajasthan) and emphasizing youth involvement with global strategies.
