Royal Welcome: HRH Group Commemorates World Tourism Day with Cultural Grandeur

Guests at the HRH Group of Hotels received a warm and regal welcome to mark World Tourism Day, adorned with traditional garlands, tika, and beautifully crafted floral carpets. Celebrated each year on September 27, World Tourism Day raises awareness about tourism's vital social, cultural, political, and economic impacts worldwide.

Established by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 1980, this day highlights tourism's role in driving economic growth, creating employment, and fostering cultural exchange. Beyond economic value, World Tourism Day reminds us how tourism bridges cultural divides, promotes mutual understanding, and encourages sustainable development. The 2025 theme, "Tourism and Sustainable Transformation" shines a light on the powerful connection between travel and global harmony, underscoring tourism's potential to nurture peace and cooperation across cultures. In celebration, a special culinary demonstration was hosted for a French group staying at Fateh Bagh Palace, Ranakpur, showcasing the rich flavors and heritageof the region.
