Shikarbadi Hotel has been reclassified under the Heritage Category by the Hotel & Restaurant Approval Committee (HRAC) of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The committee was chaired by Mr. R.K. Suman, Regional Director (North) of India Tourism.

The reclassification of Shikarbadi Hotel is a significant achievement for the hotel and for the HRH Group of Hotels. It recognizes the hotel's unique heritage and its commitment to preserving and promoting Indian culture.

The HRAC is a high-level committee that is responsible for approving hotels and restaurants that meet the standards for heritage classification. The committee is composed of eminent members of the hospitality, travel, and tourism fraternity. In order to be reclassified as a heritage hotel, Shikarbadi Hotel had to meet a number of criteria. These criteria included the hotel's age, its architectural style, its historicalsignificance, and its commitment to preserving its heritage.

The HRH Group of Hotels was represented on the HRAC by Mr. Adityaveer Singh, Vice President, Hotel Operations; Mr. Dashrath Singh Rathore, General Manager, Shikarbadi Hotel; and Mr. Chhatrasal Singh Baghela, General Manager, Shiv Niwas Palace.
