Wedding of Shivam and Sasmita

The wedding of Shivam, son of Late Mr. and Mrs. Navin Kumar Aggarwal and Sasmita, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanjib Rout was held at Jagmandir Island Palace, Udaipur. The procession took off from Gol Mahal to Rameshwar Ghat, The Promenade and from there the guests were ferried across to Jagmandir Island Palace of boats. Wedding ceremony was held at Courtyard and dinner was arranged at the Garden. Sangeet ceremony held at Zenana Mahal on 3rd June 2023.

Shiv Niwas Palace Reclassified as Heritage Grand Hotel

Shiv Niwas Palace, HRH Group of Hotels, has been reclassified as a Heritage Grand Hotel by the Hotel & Restaurant Approval Committee (HRAC) of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The HRAC is a high-level committee that is responsible for approving hotels and restaurants that meet the standards for heritage classification. The committee is composed of eminent members of the hospitality, travel, and tourism fraternity.

In order to be reclassified as a Heritage Grand Hotel, Shiv Niwas Palace had to meet a number of criteria. These

criteria included the hotel's age, its architectural style, its historicalsignificance, and its commitment to preserving its heritage.

The reclassification of Shiv Niwas Palace is a significant achievement for the hotel and for the HRH Group of Hotels. It recognizes the hotel's unique heritage and its commitment to preserving and promoting Indian culture. The committee was chaired by Mr. R.K. Suman, Regional Director (North) of India Tourism.

The committee also included representatives from the following organizations: The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India; Hotel Association of India; The Travel Agents Association of India; The Indian Association of Tour Operators; Indian HeritageHotels Association; Institute of Hotel Management.

The HRH Group of Hotels was represented on the HRAC by Mr. Adityaveer Singh, Vice President of Hotel Operations for the group; and Mr. Chhatrasal Singh Baghela, General Manager of Shiv Niwas Palace. The reclassification of Shiv Niwas Palace is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the HRH Group of Hotels. It is also a recognition of the importance of preserving India's rich heritage.
