Unveiling of Statue of Maharana Pratap at Gauravpath, Nathdwara

A 15-foot statue of Maharana Pratap on his horse Chetak was unveiled at Gauravpath, Nathdwara, by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Mr. C.P. Joshi, Speaker, Rajasthan Assembly and Mr. Udayalal Anjana, Minister of Co-operation, Government of Rajasthan. The statue was sculpted by Rajkumar Pandit, who was honored by Mr. Mewar by tying a turban and wearing a dupatta. Pandit's art has also been recognized internationally, and his sculptures have been installed in 15 countries, including Belgium, Singapore, France, England, America, Sudan, Peru, and China.
