Tue, 15 March Herbal Gulal distribution to empower rural women of RajasthanMr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar took a unique initiative to promote and give it a recognition to the herbal gulal prepared by the tribal women of Rajasthan. The gulal is prepared by these women of Adivasi Bahul village in southern Rajasthan from flowers and leaves. These are used in the festival of Holi. Mr. Mewar sent these herbal gulal as a gift to Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Kalraj Mishra; 200 Members of Legilative Assembly of Rajasthan, Chief Minister, Shri Ashok Gehlot; Former Chief Minister, Smt. Vasundhara Raje; Speaker of Assembly, Shri C.P. Joshi, Leader of Opposition Shri Gulabchand Kataria. The initiative was to make the rural woman self reliant by providing new employment opportunities. Mr. Mewar initiated this distribution drive in the presence of District Collector of Udaipur Mr. Tarachand Meena and Dr. Divyani Katara.

Felicitated the winners of Photography
Competition Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar felicitated the winners from Udaipur who won prizes at the Rupesh Doody Memorial Mature( Parikpav) photography competition organized by Prithviraj Foundation, Ajmer at The City Palace, Udaipur. The competition received 240 entries of 80 photographers from across the country. Prithviraj Foundation President Dr. Poonam Pandey conveyed 25 best entries along with first, second, and third winners were awarded in this competition organized on the theme of Fair, Festival, and Vibrant Colors of Rajasthan at the DAV College Auditorium, Ajmer on 14th March 2022. Foundation Secretary Mr. Deepak Sharma, Mr. Nadeem Khan, Mr. Neeraj Tripathi were also present for the occasion.
Holika Dahan Ceremony 2022 Holi, the festival of colors is one of the most popular Indian festivals. It is celebrated at the onset of spring. This year it was celebrated on 17th March 2022. The palace priest performed the pooja rituals with the Mewar Family members including Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar, Master Haritraj Singh Mewar, Miss. Mohlakshika Kumari Mewar, Miss Praneshwari Kumari Mewar Holika Dahan was performed after Parikrama or Circumambulation of the Holika effigy. |
