Wonderful interaction with Mr. Khem Singh

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar had a wonderful interaction with Mr. Khem Singh, a tea shop owner at Kumbhalgarh, Rajsamand. Mr. Mewar and family were on a visit to the Kumbhalgarh fort and nearby areas. En-route he made a stopover and was overwhelmed by the hospitality of Mr. Khem Singh.

At the Patrika Menar Bird Festival

Patrika Menar Bird Festival was inaugurated at Bird Village Menar by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar on the foundation day of Udaipur edition of Rajasthan Patrika. Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot and Chief Conservator of Forests Mr. R.K. Singh, officials and prominent members were also present.

School and college students also reached in large numbers and guests took part in the bird watching. Bird watching was accompanied by an awareness rally on the theme 'Kuch Kadam Pakshiyon key liye'.

In this, about 300 students of class 9 to 11 from Menar Headquarters and nearby registered schools got a chance to see local and migratory birds under the guidance of expert bird watchers.

A photo exhibition was organized in the Bird Festival. For the first time the life cycle of six butterflies has been demonstrated live. More than 8000 postal stamps from 302 countries displayed in exhibition, issued on birds from all over the world at the exhibition site is also a center of special attraction.
