Inauguration of Jodhana Mishthan in Udaipur

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Executive Director, HRH Group of Hotels, inaugurated Jodhana Mishthan at Surajpol, Udaipur. He expressed his excitement that residents of Udaipur will now have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Jodhpur sweets. Mr. Mewar congratulated the Hukumji Mishthan team for their new venture. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. Ravi Prakash Meharda, Director General of ACB; Dr. B.L. Meena, Additional Director General of Police; Mr. Maninderjit Singh Bitta, President of the Anti-Terrorism Front; Mr. Rajesh Meena, Udaipur Range IG; Mr. Arvind Poswal, Udaipur Collector; Mr. Rajendra Prasad Goyal, DIG of ACB; Mr. Yogesh Goyal, Superintendent of Police; and Mr. Satveer Singh, Former IG. Other notable attendees included Mahant Pratap Puri, Pokaran MLA and Mahant of Taratara Math Barmer; Mahant Parshuram Giri, Head of Kanana Math; Mr. Jogeshwar Garg, Cabinet Minister; Mr. Phool Singh Meena, Udaipur Rural Member of Legislative Assembly; and Prof. Colonel S.S. Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor of Vidyapeeth University and Chairperson of Bhupal Nobles University. Former MLA Mr. Gyanchand Parikh was also present. On behalf of the Jodhana Sweet family, Mr. Sawai Singh Rajpurohit expressed his gratitude to all attendees for their support and presence at the event.

BW Hotelier IHA-2024

The BW HOTELIER Indian Hospitality Summit & Awards (IHA-2024), one of the most anticipated events in the hospitality sector, took place at the Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences on October 21 and 22, 2024. The central theme for IHA 2024 was "Revolutionising Indian Hospitality." The summit was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. G.S. Shekhawat, Hon'ble Minister of Culture and Tourism, Government of India. In his address, he emphasized the crucial role of government policies in fostering the development of the hospitality sector.

The first day focused on Investments & Development, exploring strategies to position India as the most preferred global destination for hospitality investment.

The second day centered on Operations & Talent Pool, discussing ways to achieve operational excellence and cultivate a world-class talent pool within the industry.

Session 13, titled BWH Heritage Roundtable, was led by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Executive Director,

HRH Group of Hotels, and Mr. Veer Vijay Singh, Managing Director and CEO of Trance Hotels & Resorts. This session highlighted the importance of preserving heritage and the role of historic properties in modern hospitality.

IHA 2024 gathered top industry leaders, innovative thinkers, and seasoned professionals from the Indian hospitality, travel, tourism, and food & beverage sectors. The event provided a unique platform for networking, insight sharing, and exploring the future of hospitality in India. It featured engaging discussions, recognition through awards, and invaluable networking opportunities, solidifying its status as a highlight of the year. Since its inception in 2016, IHA has played a vital role in positioning the Indian hospitality industry on the global stage. The 2024 edition showcased keynote addresses and panel discussions led by over 100 leading experts. These sessions deeply explored the latest trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the sector, providing participants with valuable insights and the opportunity to contribute to the industry's future. The summit concluded with the prestigious BW HOTELIER Awards, celebrating excellence in hospitality.
