Exploring Opportunities: Stakeholders' Meet for the 4th Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) 2024

A discussion session titled "Weddings in India - Opportunities in Rajasthan" was held at the Durbar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace in Udaipur, organized jointly by the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) and the Rajasthan Tourism Department. The event began with a warm welcome to Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Executive Director, HRH Group of Hotels. This session is part of the preparations for the 4th Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM), scheduled to take place from September 13 to 15, 2024, at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur. The theme for this year's mart is "Wedding, Incentive, Conference, and Event" (WICE), which aims to showcase Rajasthan's rich offerings as a premier wedding destination.

RDTM 2024 will feature over 200 stalls representing more than 600 properties, attracting an expected 1,300 buyers and over 7,000 visitors. Notable speakers at the event included: Mr. Parthip Tyagarajan, CEO of Wedding Sutra; Mr. Rituraj Khanna, CEO of Q Events Pvt Ltd; Mr. Dushyant Periwal, Founder and CEO of Weddings by WDNE; Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela, President of FHTR; CA Virendra Singh Shekhawat, Secretary of FHTR; Mr. Mahendra Singh Rathore, President of RATO; Mr. Tarun Kumar Bansal, President of HRAR and Mr. Ranvijay Singh, Secretary of HRAR. The session provided valuable insights into the potential growth of the wedding industry in Rajasthan and addressed various queries from attendees. The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration between stakeholders to enhance tourism and capitalize on the state's unique appeal as a destination for weddings and events.

Inauguration of the Seventh National Fin Swimming Competition

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Executive Director, HRH Group of Hotels, served as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the seventh National Fin Swimming Competition at Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, Udaipur. The event was organized by the Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon Society and the Under Water Sports Association of Rajasthan at the Maharana Pratap Khelgaon Swimming Pool in Udaipur. Among the distinguished guests were Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Chunnilal Garasiya, Madhya Pradesh BJP spokesperson Mr. Rajpal Singh Sisodia, Madhya Pradesh President of the Rashtriya Karni Sena Mr. Shiv Pratap Singh Chauhan, and CA Dr. Anubhav Pradhan.
