Training on Advance Catering and COVID- 19 Guidelines

The HRH Group of Hotels recently conducted a training course on Advance Catering and COVID-19 Guidelines for their Food and Beverage Department, Kitchen Staff, and Executives. The training was facilitated by Ms. Charu from the Centre for Public Health and Food Safety (CPHFS), an FSSAI Training Partner for the Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) program.

The training aimed to: Recognize and prevent risks associated with food handling in food businesses; Train and supervise other food handlers in the premises; Implement Schedule-4 requirements for food businesses; Ensure compliance with all FSSAI requirements; Create a behavioral change in food handlers regarding personal hygiene, good hygienic/manufacturing practices, and safe food handling; Incorporate a culture of food safety within the premises.

By participating in this training, the HRH Group aims to: Improve performance and value in their food businesses; Enhance knowledge in the field of food safety and Develop skills in food safety and quality assurance.

The training was conducted in line with FSSAI's COVID-19 focused FoSTaC program, which provides guidelines for the hospitality industry to operate safely during the pandemic. It equips food handlers with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain high standards of hygiene and prevent the spread of COVID-19 while serving customers.

World Environment Day

The HRH Group of Hotels demonstrated its commitment to a greener future on World Environment Day by organizing a mass plantation drive across its properties in Udaipur, Ranakpur, and Bikaner. The initiative aimed to emphasize the importance of nurturing plants and preserving natural surroundings for future generations. The group's efforts included planting saplings at Jagmandir Island Palace, Shiv Niwas Palace, Fateh Bagh, Karni Bhawan, and Gajner Palace. Additionally, the team conducted lakeshore cleaning activities at Jagmandir Island Palace and Gajner Palace to maintain the cleanliness and health of the surrounding water bodies. Jagmandir Island Palace also hosted The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Udaipur, celebrating their lake cleaning initiative on this day. The HRH Group of Hotels recognizes its responsibility as a hospitality provider to promote sustainable practices and contribute to environmental conservation. By engaging in tree planting and cleanup drives, the group encourages its employees, guests, and local communities to take an active role in protecting the planet and creating a more sustainable future.
