Excellent Hygiene Rating Awarded to HRH Group of Hotels by FSSAI

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has awarded an "Excellent" Hygiene Rating to the Jagmandir Island Palace, Shiv Niwas Palace, Shikarbadi Hotel, and Garden Hotel of the HRH Group of Hotels. The audit was conducted by FSSAI auditor Ms. Garima Gaur.

The FSSAI's Hygiene Rating Scheme is an initiative aimed at enabling consumers to make informed choices when dining out and encouraging food businesses to enhance their food hygiene standards. This scheme involves rating food businesses based on the food hygiene and safety conditions observed during inspections.

As the key regulator of the food industry in India, the FSSAI plays a crucial role in ensuring food safety by setting rules and guidelines, granting licenses, testing food standards, conducting regular audits, spreading food safety awareness, maintaining records and data, regulating the food chain, formulating regulations, and providing suggestions to the government.

Through these functions, the FSSAI plays a pivotal role in safeguarding public health, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the quality of food products across India.
