The President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu, hosted His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, where a grand banquet was organized to celebrate his historic visit to India. The event was graced by the presence of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, the Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, and other distinguished guests, including Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar.

During the banquet, President Murmu acknowledged Oman's significant role in promoting peace and stability in the region and highlighted the special place of Oman in India's West Asia policy.

She expressed her delight at the strong relations between the two countries and appreciated Oman's valuable

participation in this year's G-20 Summit and other related meetings under India's chairmanship. Both leaders affirmed their commitment to strengthening India-Oman bilateral relations. The banquet was a testament to the enduring friendship and cooperation between India and Oman, marking a significant milestone in their relations.
