Wed, 18 Jan BW Education Leadership Summit 2023 Sustainable Classrooms: The Future of Learning Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Vidyadan Trust & Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, explained why sustainability has to be an integral part of our education system. He underlined that the most important thing as being humans on this planet is that we need to be conscious of the fact that we need to be aware of ourselves and we need to make sure that what we are doing today is going to be there for the generations to come. Jaipur Literature Festival Unveiling the book "Rediscovering Mewar" by Dr. Sandeep Purohit On the first day of the Jaipur Literature Festival, Senior journalist Dr. Sandeep Purohit's book "Rediscovering Mewar" (Mewar Punarkhoj) was unveiled by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar along with Dr. CP Joshi, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker; Mr. Bhuvnesh Jain, Senior journalist, Rajasthan Patrika and Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar. Rediscovering Mewar is a book, apart from the palaces, temples, a special reference has been given to both Chittorgarh and Maharana Pratap, symbols of Mewar's valor and self-respect. The shores (Ghats) of Pichola along with the lakes and the culture, Teej festivals associated with it have been told with the changing environment. From Gadiya Lohar to Gavri and Jamra Beej, tribals life is also a part of Mewar rediscovery. The Jaipur Literature Festival, or JLF, is an annual literary festival which takes place in the Indian city of Jaipur each year in the month of January. It was founded in 2006. The Festival brings together a diverse mix of the world's greatest writers, thinkers, humanitarians, politicians, business leaders, sports people and entertainers on one stage to champion the freedom to express and engage in thoughtful debate and dialogue. |
