Wed, 8 June Unveiling of book 'Jaisinghgunavarnanam'Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar unveiled the book 'Jaisinghgunavarnanam' by Dr. Shri Krishna Jugnu. This book was composed by Pt. Ranchod Bhatt during the construction of Jaisamand by keeping the work and personality of Maharana Jai Singh. Mr. Jugnu translated and edited this book after importing it from London which was unavailable from 300 years. Maharana Jai Singh, the 59th Diwan of Shree Eklingnath ji was the water donor of Mewar, he made a unique contribution in the collection, management and conservation of rain water to deal with famine and drought. Maharana got the world famous man-made fresh water lake named Jaisamudra built 32 miles south-east of Udaipur. Dr. Shri Krishna Jugnu said that the latest book about Maharana Jai Singh and Amar Singh (II) of Mewar will pave the way for research for all of us.
Sat, 11 June 12th Foundation Day of Tara SansthanMr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar was the Chief Guest at the Tara Sansthan Old Age Home to celebrate their 12th Foundation day at Sector 6, Udaipur. Tara sansthan was founded by Ms. Kalpana Goyal. The charitable organization was initially started as Tara Netralaya, evoted to provide free eye care and providing free eye cataract operations to the poor and needy.
