Celebrating the arrival of Bhanwar Baojiraj Sahib Haritraj Singh Mewar and Raksha Bandhan

It was an auspicious occasion for the Mewar family to welcome the newly born son to Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar at the Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur. Shriji received and blessed his grandson and offered prayers to Shree Eklingnathji to bestow him with divine wisdom to lead his life in the true spirit of Mewar.

The day also marked the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan celebrations at Shambhu Niwas Palace. Shriji, Smt. Vijayraj Kumari Mewar, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar, Miss. Mohlakshika Kumari Mewar and Miss. Praneshwari Kumari Mewar were present for the occasion. Temple priests from Shree Parmeshwaraji Maharaj Eklingnath ji Temple, Shree Bannathji Temple, Shiv Shakti Vishnu Temple and members of Shree Dharm Sabha tied raksha sutra followed by tying of rakhi to all the members of the family. Raksha Bandhan is the festival that celebrates the bond of love between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie rakhi on the wrist of their brothers and pray for their good health and prosperity. Siblings exchange sweets and gifts, which makes the festival even more exciting for them.

After the Maha Pooja at Kailashpuri, being the last Monday of Sharavan Maas, and on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan and after blessings by Kuldevi Shree Bayan Mata ji and Kuldevta Shree Eklingnathji The Ruler of Mewar the newly born was bestowed with the name 'Haritraj Singh Mewar'.
