Dawat Poojan at Shambhu Niwas Palace

Dawat Poojan is performed twice a year in the month of Chaitra after Holi and in the month of Kartik after Deepawali. Dawat Poojan, Poojan of Dawat (Silver Inkpot) and Kalam (Pen) is performed to receive blessings for a prosperous New Year, season of festivities, and growth in business, health, happiness and wealth.

The Poojan ceremony was performed by Purohitji and Karmantriji Pandits, Shriji was anointed with the Aashka (blessings) after the poojan ceremony at Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur with Kalam (Pen) and Prasad. After receiving the aashka Shriji performed the pooja by writing the names on the Lekhni Patra (Paper) of Shri Ramji and Shri Eklingji with the Kalam (Pen) made of stem of BARU Tree.
