Chief Guest at the the inauguration of Maharana Pratap Singh Art Gallery and Cultural Centre

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar was the Chief Guest at the inauguration of Maharana Pratap Singh Art Gallery and Cultural Centre at Vaibhavwadi, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra.

Vaibhavwadi, a significant historical place of medieval period in Maharashtra. The project is being executed in the capacity of Wabhave-Vaibhavwadi Nagar Parishad, Sindhudurg District on behalf of Shri. Nitesh Rane.

The gallery is based on the life of Maharana Pratap, This is the brain child of Mr. Nitesh Narayan Rane, Member of Legislative Assembly, Kankawli Constituency, Maharashtra. Based on the building specification and available research data, the exhibition was designed considering the museological standards. The exhibits are illustrated with the help of paintings, murals and graphics. A meticulous research was done related to the migration of people from Mewar to Kokan. This task was taken care by stringent research and documentation methodologies. Lineage and names were authenticated from the Royal publications of Udaipur. Non Tangible and oral records were verified with reference to written documents and sources.

The inaugural function was attended by Mr. Narayan Rane, Ex- Chief Minister Maharashtra, Member of Parliament – Rajya Sabha; Mr. Jaykumar Rawal, Minister of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra; Yuvraj Srimant Chhatrapati Saheb Sambhaji Raje Bhosale along with dignitaries and localities.
