Language Training program

The HR Department of HRH Group of Hotels conducted a Language Training session with working vocabulary in three languages French, Telugu and Tamil for the Operation Employees from 24th September 2018 to 8th October 2018. The programme was conducted in association with ICICI Rural Self Employment Training institute, Udaipur.

32 employees from Fateh Prakash Palace, Shiv Niwas Palace, Jagmandir Island Palace, Garden Hotel and Shikarbadi Hotel took part in the session. Mr. Rajendra Singh and Ms. Sheela Das were the instructors for the programe.

ICICI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Udaipur is established under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and sponsored by ICICI Bank to promote entrepreneurship in rural areas by imparting free skill development trainings among the rural youth. Since March 2011 ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth is strengthening skill development programme in Udaipur, which has been recognized by MoRD as top performing RSETI in the country.

At the 7th Annual Convention and 17th AGM of IHHA

The 7th Annual Convention of the Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA) was held at Laxmi Vilas Palace, Bharatpur, Rajasthan from September 13-14, 2018 on the theme 'Revitalizing India as the Heritage Destination'.

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Executive Director, HRH Group of Hotels attended the event as a panellist for the session "Discussion with Next Generation – Heritage Owners". Mr. Mewar presented a different point of view to this topic. He said that the present era belongs to everyone and not any particular generation and one should not be limited to the idea of "Gen Next". Other participants in the discussion were Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Mr. Abhimanyu Singh Alsisar, Ms. Chandni Steve, Ms. Sonavi, Mr. Shakti Singh and Ms. Kanika.

Prospects of introducing Battlefield Tourism in Rajasthan was taken up. A presentation on the idea to recreate the famous battles fought in Rajasthan was given by Lt Gen Cherish Mathson, GOC-in-C South West Command, at a special session.

An exhibition featuring various hospitality and industry related products was inaugurated by Tourism Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Krishnendra Kaur. The exhibition displayed products like hotel toiletries, bedding & linen, air cooling systems, commercial cooking equipment, etc.

Second day witnessed the sessions on "Role of Spouses in Hotel Operations" and launch of coffee table book on the heritage hotels.
